In 2010 a development center of Skoda in Mladá Boleslav ( 60 km north/east from Prag ) was equipped with a testing unit for perfomance and noise. Besides taking measurements also modifications of the lifted cars should be possible. Therefore it was necessary to combine the test stand with suitable lifting technology.
There was no space for classical synchronization devices in the underground so the Masterlift Sycnhro was used. The lifting units of the Masterlift Synchro communicate electronically and do no longer need a mechanical connection. So variable piston distances become possible. A further task was to install the lifting units in a way that the superstructure can be recessed in the floor and can be driven over so as less disturbing noises occur during noise measurements.
